Children aged 5-11
We provide resources, activities and toys for the school aged children we care for after school and during the holidays. These include a wide range of suitable books, puzzles, board games, card games, activity books, construction toys, junk modelling and other art and craft materials. We plan suitable art and craft and cooking activities and the children are allowed supervised computer and television usage.
Kirstin is qualified primary teacher with experience teaching children from Reception to Year 6 so she is willing to help with homework and reading after school. We also have lots of games and activities which support learning in Key Stage 1 and 2 across the primary curriculum.
Outings during the holidays are planned carefully considering the age of the minded children present so that everyone is fully involved. Older children are consulted during the planning process so that we cater for everyone’s interests.
After school we often make visits to the local park and green areas and we may be able to go further if time allows.
