I am registered by Ofsted to provide overnight care for one child.

I am happy to care for children overnight on a regular basis or on the odd occasion if parents require it.

My overnight care runs from 7pm to 7am but I am happy to look after children for a longer period of time if I have spaces available. My normal hourly rate will apply for any extra hours.

Each child’s evening routine and bedtime will depend on their age and the day of the week but I will liaise with you as the parent to determine the most appropriate care. For younger children a typical routine may be dinner followed by quiet play, a relaxing bath, a story and then sleep.

The age and needs of your child will determine where they sleep at night. I have a travel cot which can be placed in either my daughter’s room or in my bedroom and a cot bed and bunk bed for older children who require the privacy of their own room. Your child will have a freshly made bed with their own clean linen including towels and flannel.

Sleeping children are checked on regularly during the evening and younger children will continue to be monitored during the night using a baby monitor.
