A Typical Day at Butterflies
With children every day is different! I am totally flexible and our activities will depend on which children I have each day and their moods and interests. Likewise activities will depend on the weather - if it's pouring with rain we're likely to be inside whereas if it starts to snow we will abandon everything and be outside enjoying it!
In general our daily routine looks like...
7.00-8.30 Arrivals, Breakfast and Free Play
8.30 The Duchy School/Pre School Runs
9.30-11.30 Outings to the park, shops, Toddler group (Friday) or Messy play (arts/craft), cooking, dressing up with a drink and snack at 10.15ish
11.30 Pick up from The Duchy Pre-School
12.15-1.00 Lunch
1.00-2.45 Nap, Quiet Time, Stories, Treasure Baskets, CBeebies, Puzzles, Construction.
2.45-3.45 The Duchy School / Pre-school Pick Up
3.45-5.00 Drink and Snack followed by Free Play or planned craft/cooking activity
5.00 onwards preparing for Hometime, Quiet Play, CBeebies
6.00 Tea for those who require it
